Note: I haven't been updating my blog for a long time. OK, make that a very loooooooong time. Hope this will put me back into my blogging mood.
Having your messaging software, Photoshop, Maya, Internet browser and media player all at once is kind of a pain in the hind portion. For those with desktops (like me), we get a second (or third, or fourth, or seventh, or tenth) monitor (again, like me). And trust me, you WILL want a second monitor. Once you go multi-monitor, you never go back.
So, what about those who use notebooks?

Normally, you wouldn't be pulling out the second monitor in the public, because the probability is low that you'd do serious work when you're out. Well, unless if you want attention.
Considering the needs, (or wants) it'll be cheaper to get a normal laptop, and an extra lcd monitor. Even if you'd want one at home and one at office, it's still WAYYYYYYY lesser than $3k.
